Confectioners Custard - Recipe


300m1 (1/2pt) milk
2 x size 3 egg yolks
25g (loz) cornflour
25g (loz) caster sugar
a few drops of vanilla essence
Confectioners Custard

How to make:

1. Blend the cornflour with a little of the milk until it forms a smooth paste.

2. In a bowl, mix the egg yolks and caster sugar. Add the milk, cornflour mixture and the vanilla essence. Stir well.

3. Cook for 5-6 minutes on MEDIUM whisking every 2 minutes, until the mixture has thickened.
