Bread Sauce - Recipe


I peeled onion, studded with cloves
4 peppercorns
pinch nutmeg
250m1 ('/2pt) milk
25g (I oz) butter or margarine
75g (3oz) breadcrumbs

How to make:

Bread Sauce

Put studded onion, peppercorns, nutmeg and milk into a jug. Heat on HIGH for 2 minutes. Leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Strain milk liquor over breadcrumbs and butter or margarine. Cook for 2 minutes on HIGH. Stir well.
